Kurzdarstellung

Die Normenreihe DIN EN 62439 legt Grundlagen für hochverfügbare Netzwerke in der Industrieautomation fest. Im fehlerfreien Zustand sehen diese Protokolle eine ISO/IEC 8802-3 (IEEE 802.3)- kompatible Kommunikation vor sowie Mechanismen zur Realzeitkommunikation. Im Falle eines Fehlers einer Einfügung oder Entfernung einer Komponente erholen sie sich innerhalb festgelegter Zeiten.
Die vorliegende Norm legt das Protokoll für ringbasierte Redundanz fest.
Für diese Norm ist das nationale Arbeitsgremium K 956 „Feldbus“ der DKE Deutsche Kommission Elektrotechnik Elektronik Informationstechnik im DIN und VDE (www.dke.de) zuständig.
