Whether it is a document, formula, text excerpt, reference or commentary, whether it is to be read by people or needs be interpreted by a machine, whether it is for the office, an engineering system or test bench: a digital norm precisely provides the relevant information in the appropriate form, whenever and wherever it is needed.
To make a digital norm a reality, there needs to be a comprehensive digital transformation of current standards and, naturally, standards organizations.
